What this involves
When the contractors finally pack up their tools, they often leave behind more than just a beautiful new space — they leave a layer of fine drywall dust that finds its way into every vent, cabinet, and drawer. A standard sweep doesn't come close to making a renovated house feel livable. Our post-construction cleaning service uses a systematic, top-to-bottom approach to ensure every square inch is sanitized and ready to inhabit.
We don't just clean the surfaces you see. We get into window tracks, wipe the interior of every cupboard, and clear the industrial residue that settles into corners a broom can't reach. The goal is a seamless transition from construction zone to a space you actually want to be in — no grit underfoot, no dust haze in the air, nothing left to do but move in.

How We Move Through a Newly Renovated Space

Dry debris removal first
Before any wet wiping starts, we remove loose debris — sawdust, drywall chips, packaging material — so we're not smearing particulate across surfaces with a damp cloth.

Top-to-bottom dust clearance
Ceilings, light fixtures, and ceiling fans get addressed before walls. Walls before counters. Counters before floors. This sequence keeps dislodged dust moving down, not back onto surfaces we've already cleaned.

Detail work on fixtures and cabinetry
Window tracks, door frames, cabinet interiors, drawer slides, hinges, and hardware — construction dust nests in all of them. We work through each one methodically before moving on.

Floor finishing
Floors are always last. Hard flooring gets scrubbed and buffed to remove adhesive residue, grout haze, and compound film. Every baseboard gets wiped by hand before we're done.

Surfaces and Areas We Address
Kitchen and Bathrooms
Tile grout haze, silicone residue around fixtures, and adhesive film on new appliances all require targeted attention. We clean inside cabinets and drawers, not just the exteriors.
Windows and Tracks
Construction crews leave fingerprints, tape residue, and sticker adhesive on new glass. We clean panes and polish tracks so windows operate cleanly and look finished.
HVAC Vents and Registers
Fine drywall particulate accumulates inside vent covers during construction. We remove, wipe, and replace every register as part of the standard process.
Light Fixtures and Ceiling Fans
New fixtures collect dust during installation and sit untouched through the rest of the build. We wipe each one down before it's ever switched on.
Floors and Baseboards
Grout haze on tile, scuff marks on hardwood, and compound residue on baseboards are all part of a typical post-build cleanup. Baseboards get hand-wiped, not just vacuumed past.
Interior Doors and Hardware
Door knobs, hinges, strike plates, and door frames pick up fingerprints and compound splatter through the course of a build. We finish each one before signing off.
